24 hour blood pressure monitoring is the most accurate way to assess blood pressure and the effectiveness of blood pressure medication. You wear a small device on your waist connected to a cuff on your arm for 24 hours. Measurements are taken every 30 minutes during the day and night, whilst you carry out your normal daily activities.
24 hour blood pressure monitoring must be booked in advance. Fee for private patients is €100.00. It is free for Medical Card and Doctor Visit Card patients.
